UBOAT

UBOAT is a game about german submarine warfare during World War 2. The game can be very challenging on the higher realism settings, but also very rewarding when you succeed in attacking freighter targets. Normally you would play with a map where you can easily orient yourself in relation to the target, but on higher realism settings, or just if you want to play with a challenge without looking at the map in combat, this is not an option.

In order for you to make an efficient approach to a target you will need to know the mathematics to get you in a good position and on the right time. This can be difficult in a combat environment to do on the fly in your head.

I have developed an Excel spreadsheet that, based on inputs from measurements in your periscope, calculates a lot of information for you that will make the game easier to approach without using the map.

Most importantly the angle on bow (AOB), but also relevant distances and timing for interception of your target.

The spreadsheet is licensed. AFter registration you can ask me for a trial for your license key. After the trial you can purchase a lifetime license for it for 9 us dollars via PayPal by contacting me for instructions on license@vidkjaer.com.
